What do you want your community to look like in the next 20 years? How do you define your neighbourhood’s character? What is your vision for the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg (MODL)?

Through the MODL2040 project, (a planning review process),  our local municipal government will consider the next twenty years and imagine how we need to plan our communities to meet the opportunities and challenges of the future, how we collectively organize our lives, as individuals and communities, and how we interact with the natural environment.

On Monday, October 25 (7 – 8 p.m.) join MODL Planner, Darren Shupe and municipal councillor, Leitha Haysom, at the Broad Cove Hall to learn more about the MODL 2040 project and have a chance to voice your opinions on planning and property development in our area.

As mandated by the Province, and with input from citizens,  the Municipality will create the Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law that will apply to the entire Municipality. To find out more, visit https://engage.modl.ca/modl2040.
