Nova Scotia Department of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage (CCTH) announced today that Broad Cove Community Association (BCCA) is one of 47 community groups to receive funding through the Recreational Facility Development Grant program. The BCCA will receive $37,000 to make their community hall more accessible, functional and sustainable.
The contribution from CCTH will combine with funds already raised by BCCA from Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg and many individual donors. All these funds will go towards the Hall Accessibility Renovation Project.
